Our design team created detailed 3D renderings and floor plans showing the wall removal, new traffic flow, and repositioned appliances before any construction began.
The homeowners could visualize how the range would anchor the back wall beneath a stainless chimney hood, how the sink would sit under the window, and how relocating the refrigerator near the dining area would keep traffic out of the cooking zone. The renderings also revealed how a new peninsula would connect the two rooms.
The former desk niche is now a tall pantry with pull-out shelves that bring canned goods, baking supplies, and small appliances into easy reach.
The new peninsula creates a natural boundary between the cooking and dining areas, featuring deep storage and a wide surface for plating, homework, or morning coffee.
The Kraus Kore sink transforms cleanup with built-in cutting boards, drying racks, and colanders that nest inside the basin.
A hinged-door cabinet on the counter tucks the microwave out of sight, featuring a dedicated interior power outlet.
Straight-edge surfaces with radiused inside corners deliver durability and a seamless look across every work zone.
Horizontal brick-laid tile terminated cleanly at the hood and cabinet undersides for a crisp, finished look.
