We have a 6 to 8-week design period where all design decisions, measurements, layout plans, and material selections are completed. Cabinets, countertops, appliances, plumbing fixtures, hardware, and other materials are ordered early, inspected upon arrival, and staged on site to prevent mid-project shortages or delays.
- Day 1: Demolition and construction preparation, which can include setting up temporary dust walls, floor covering, furniture covers, and bringing in air filters. Rough electrical and plumbing work starts today, as does cabinet and flooring installation.
- Day 2: Finish the rough electrical and plumbing work if not already completed, and finish installing cabinets if not. Maybe start the drywall work. Template for countertops in the evening. Flooring.
- Day 3: Drywall repairs, drywall installation, and painting begin. Walls and ceilings are prepped and finished.

Many clients prefer our selections because they’ve been thoughtfully chosen for both style and performance.
Pre-Construction Prep
